The Two Sides of Terror
New in the Website
One of the things we learned from the last war in Iraq, is that Western governments use Weapons of Mass Distraction in order to achieve Machiavellian goals that couldn’t have survived public opinion otherwise. David Christopher Kelly was a British scientist and expert on biological warfare, employed by the British Ministry of Defence, and formerly a United Nations weapons inspector in Iraq. In July 2003 he had an unauthorized discussion with a BBC journalist, Andrew Gilligan, about the British government's dossier on weapons of mass destruction in Iraq (see Downloads). Apparently, the British government was well aware there were no such weapons in Iraq. Following the interview, he was invited to appear on July 15, 2003, before the parliamentary foreign affairs select committee, which was investigating the Iraqi WMD (Weapons of Mass Destruction) lies. Kelly was questioned aggressively about his actions. Luckily for the British government, he was found dead two days later. Despite the official report on his suicide, his death looks like a carefully stage assassination aimed to save the British government face. Had James Bond acted? MI5 knows. Weapons of Mass Distraction became since then almost a synonym with Western Democracies in most of the world beyond the North Atlantic.
This disturbing dishonesty has a good reason: these regimes have systematically enslaved, colonized and destroyed many cultures around the world. Anything that is not organized as a Western style democracy of corporations is ruthlessly obliterated by them. In the name of democracy and pluralism, anything different is eradicated.
Most people in the West care very little about this, most of them didn’t travel beyond the Northern Atlantic countries, and if they did so, they couldn’t fully understand the language and the different cultures. Western propaganda has an easy time demonizing all other cultures. “We are a true democracy, all the others live in a 1984 nightmare,” western leaders keep brainwashing their voters in a variety of ways. A few years ago, a book was published claiming George Orwell wrote 1984 with Myanmar (Burma) in mind; ridiculous as this claim is, it was a clear sign the West is worried its masses would wake up to their sad reality as slaves of institutional consumerism.
Israel is not different in this context. As a matter of fact it can be seen as a leader in this. This website and my book The Cross of Bethlehem deal extensively with the Israeli Administration systematic crimes against Palestinians and against its own citizens. The Israeli atrocities have reach such an extent, that on October 2009, Israel was recognized as terror inflicting by the United Nations Human Rights Council.
It would be very easy to list the crimes; yet, the long list has become so extensive that it is practically impossible to digest. How do you group the crimes? How can you analyze them in a coherent way? How do you keep track with the unending updates?
A bit more difficult is elucidating the machinery of terror. Yet, this path I especially rewarding because it shows the machinery of Israeli terror has been minted as the two sides of a single coin.
Israel has been successful until now at insulating itself from legal challenges to its confiscation of Palestinian land and property. This is partly attributable to a lack of international political will in enforcing legal measures against theft of property; but not only due to that. Israel also managed to legally maneuver around its human rights responsibilities against the UN sovereignty conditions on Israel; the lack of sophistication of Palestinians and Arabs in the use of legal mechanisms to advance the Palestinian refugee case also contributed to this. Without any chance of recovering their property, these people were condemned to eternal refugeeship, and to eternal attacks by Israel which searches for outer enemies in order to keep tight control on its population. Any act of self-defense of the refugees can be easily presented as an act of violence against the self-defined “rightful democracy.” In Judaism as anti-Semitism I expanded this to the behavior of Jewish organizations in general.
The mechanism by which this was created was simple. Israel’s claim to Palestinian property is based on “laws of absentee property.” Israel claims absentees are all Palestinians or Arabs residing in Palestine who left their homes and land during the 1948 conflict. This horrific fact holds even if they were forcibly expulsed by the IDF. Once defined as an “absentee,” a Palestinian loses all claim of right to ownership or use of the property.
By now, Machiavelli is blushing. But Israel went far beyond Machiavelli’s wildest machinations. The confiscated property is given to the Custodian of Absentee Property, who acquires sole right, title, and use of the property for the benefit of Israel. In 1961, the Israel Land Administration (ILA) was created; it took over the administration of almost all Palestinian refugee land confiscated under the absentee property laws. In such a way the state insulated itself from claims of wrongful taking and discriminatory application of the laws. Moreover, ILA, as a “non-state” entity, incorporated covenants in every land transaction that prohibited the lease, transfer, or alienation of the property in any way to non-Jews, without incurring the discrimination liability to which the state would have been vulnerable. Such “restrictive covenants” used in the United States by whites to prevent the transfer of land to blacks were declared illegal. An additional legal tool added to this was the expropriation for public use, by which Israeli legislation mandates that the only compensation to be paid in case of challenge by the owners is value fixed at 1950 prices, and prohibits restitution of the property.
Israel carefully created a reality of misery, from which the refugees cannot redeem themselves. By creating an eternal conflict, Israel created a reality where it tells its citizens: “1984-style reality, in which it can claim to its citizens: “We are in war, you are right about your claims, but now it’s not the time to deal with them.” That brings us to the issue of inwards terror.
Israeli citizens cannot own land. That makes sense since technically Israel is a country with no fixed borders and which illegally robbed much of the land in the method described above. The ILA is nowadays responsible for managing 93% of the public domain land in Israel. These lands are either property of the state or belong to the Jewish National Fund (JNF) which controls 13% of the land. The best a citizen can do is to lease rights from the ILA for a period of 49 or 98 years.
Even leasing is hard. Most Israelis are literally enslaved to state given hypothecs – mortgage loans - due to the exorbitant price of land and even of simple apartments. If planning everything carefully, a citizen earning an average salary would need to pay the mortgage during his entire working-life. A mortgage loan is the name to the financing obtained by a home buyer or builder from a financial institution. It allows using future incomes for purchasing something in the present, while the financing institution makes considerable profits from interest. These institutions are often related to governments. The loaners are from that point until they end paying the loan little more than slaves. They’ll be careful not to lose their jobs. Self-censorship in their activities would be thus willingly imposed. This applies to all Western Walsinghamian states.
We live in a rapidly changing world. Technologies change every day. The gadget that was expensive last year, is worthless the next one. With one exception: the construction industry. Thousands of years old, its prices only rise because this industry is kept inefficient and backwards. Governments - and especially the Israeli one - are interested in keeping their citizen-slaves in line, and inflated mortgages for overprized apartments are a very comfy way of achieving that. Isn’t that so, Rabbi Mammon Rothschild?
Eventually, we see two populations suffering under the Israeli Administration. The obvious one is the Palestinians, whether they live in Israel, the West Bank or the Diaspora. The other – much less obvious and still leaving under a reality of government created mass-distraction – is the Israeli citizens, which are largely unaware of their human rights. Israel still doesn’t have a constitution.
Two sides to the same coin of terror; one government responsible for both crimes. And the world is silent.
