Teenager Used by Israeli Police | Israel is a Terror State

A few days ago I published Shiber Shiber, Beit Beit, Dar Dar, Zenga Zenga, where among other things I commented on a “Day of Rage” declared by Jewish settlers in protest for the dismantling of an illegal building in “Havat Gilad” (The Gilad Farm) by the Israeli administration of the Occupied territories. The violence of these two events eventually reached the Knesset and disclosed an unexpected corroboration of systemic human rights violations and crimes committed regularly by the Israeli police.

This is not new. Mahmud Gnayem was assassinated in cold blood by policeman Shahar Mizrahi; justice against Mizrahi was sketchy to say the least. The picture above shows a Palestinian kid used as a human shield by the same organization. Yet, the events of the recent Day of Rage are important due to their source: Jewish settlers.

According to international law, these people are criminals for settling in the Occupied Territories. They are backed by the State of Israel, which not surprisingly has been defined as a terror inflicting organization by the UN’s Human Rights council. All male settlers had been trained by the army, hold a position in the settlements’ military protection system, and most important of all, are given gun and ammunitions by the IDF. Technically, we are speaking about an illegitimate militia of the State of Israel. Even by Israeli law they are often defined as criminals. The assassination of Aisha Adnan Al-Bahsh (to whom the The Cross of Bethlehem is dedicated) by settler Yosef Harnoi is just one of many examples supporting this claim. Thus, any complaint of the settlers towards the police must be seen as insiders action.

The developments were fast. The police prepared a report on the events and the report reached the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Security Committee, one of the main forums of this establishment. The meeting was held by the request of Gershon Mesika, head of the Shomron (Samaria) Regional Council, one of the main settlers’ organizations. The urgency was due to the fact the police report said the police acted as angels and that everything was good. Apparently, they even forced a little girl to draw a rose on the cover.

The settlers response was harsh. They presented evidences on the police activity, including videos and hospital reports. The main findings were:

- Police officers worked with masks and without identifying symbols.

- Police officers threw shock-grenades at a synagogue for no reason.

- Police officers shot color bullets on settlers for no reason.

- Police officers shoot two plastic bullets on the knees of the Gilad farm lawyer, Yehuda Shimon, from a distance of two meters (six feet). Oddly enough, he was filming the event and posed no threat to the dull police officer that shoot him.

- A 17 year old boy that was detained together with others by the police was kicked and badly beaten.

- A 15 year old girl was detained with 19 others. She experienced harsh violence and severe sexual harassment by a police officer.

According to the police report, all these are legitimate actions.

Daniel Dayan, head of the Yesha Council (Hebrew acronym for Judea, Samaria and Gaza; a blasphemy as it implies them having godly connections) answered to this by saying the police narrative is clearly false and that the police cannot investigate itself; by doing so it created a report reminding of the soviet Pravda newspaper.

Michael Ben Ari, a Knesset Member from the far right claimed the police shows a culture of lies and that it gives legitimacy to criminals in uniform.

Knesset member Arieh Eldad said the police is a lying organization that gave to the parliament a false report, trying to cover up criminals in uniform who act for political reasons.

Finally, the abovementioned Gershon Mesika said the report was written by an hallucinating and detached from reality officer.

The body of evidence is vast and from varied sources; there is little doubt the Israeli police officers are nothing more than what was claimed in the Knesset: uniformed criminals. Yet, they are just another wheel of an unjust machine. In Gaza’s Freedom Flotilla we saw similar actions by the IDF; they were similarly protected by a cooked report. In his condemning report, Justice Goldstone blamed the Israeli administration for putting obstacles in the way of the UN investigating committee. More examples can be easily added. Gershon Mesika is right in another claim he made: an independent investigation must be conducted.

However, Mr. Mesika, let’s be fair. Let’s have an independent investigation committee not only into the Israeli police crimes against settlers, but also in all its actions. The same goes for the IDF, the Mossad, the Shin Beth and the Israeli administration. Subsequently, let’s put to trial the relevant individuals working for these organizations in a suitably international and independent court of justice, let’s say in Nuremberg. It’s time for you – terror inflictors – to live up the standards you preach (John 9:40-41).
