IDF Attacked Jewish College
shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.—Matthew 7:26-27
New in the Website
It was the first time in its short history that Israel sent its army against a Jewish college, in an unjustified act of aggression usually kept for attacking Palestinians. The State of Israel pogrom against Ultra-Orthodox Jews led to unprecedented declarations against the State of Israel and to a widening of the developing rift between religious Jews and secular Zionists.
This is probably the first time that accepting the words of this extremist is easy. He is right. Israeli authorities are invariably "smart on the weak." The Hebrew saying refers to taking advantage of the weak, of punishing the victims instead of the perpetrators.
Entering the Palestinian university would have been condemned worldwide; desecrating Jewish Torah books by the State of Israel is dismissed. "They had their reasons. They were terrorists," most people will say. Knowing that, the IDF attacked the defenseless in another awesome example of humanist morals.
All Because a Punctured Tyre
After the event was over, around fifty settlers organized themselves as a military force and attacked the nearby stronghold. Only six soldiers guarded it. The settlers were armed with weapons, which had been issued by the IDF through its settlement protection activities. All military goods in the place were destroyed, no people were harmed. See Settlers Destroy Army Stronghold.
The spokesman of Yitzhar said "The authorities' policy of collective punishment and destruction against the people of Yitzhar is revolting. It is impossible that the Government of Israel and its security forces will destroy the houses of innocents as revenge against 'Price Tag' activities.** Innocents should not pay for the crimes of others, no matter how serious the crimes had been. We demand from the security system and its head (Minister of Defense Moshe Ya'alon) to stop immediately the escalating circle of violence."
They have a valid case. The destruction came days after the tyres of an IDF commander in the area had been punctured in a settlers' Price Tag event.** After that, the IDF remembered that there were several structures scheduled for destruction in the nearest settlement and attacked. The State does not provide credible tools to answers its own aggressions against citizens.
Today's IDF escalation of its attacks was the result to the destruction of the stronghold, a revenge declared by a now illegitimate army officer. Abovementioned Attorney Ben Gvir represents many of the settlers arrested afterwards.
Zionist newspaper Yediot Ahronot described the event as a "military operation against the enemy" in which "large forces of the army and the border police participated."
Students and teachers were absent due to the Passover holiday. The Druze officer commanding the event gave to Rabbi Yosef Elitzur a "Catch Order" issued by the IDF Central Command and signed by Major General Nitzan Alon against the structure of the college.
Astonished, the rabbi let them in. Once inside, the IDF desecrated even the Torah scrolls, moving everything to a large room in the structure. The Torah scrolls have been declared "prisoners" by the shocked personnel of the college, in a step similar to the secular declaration of organizations as judicial persons. Other part of the force surrounded the structure with barbed wire, transforming it into a new stronghold, viciously replacing the destroyed one.
Who is a Terrorist?
Rabbi Israel Ariel gave an interview to settler Channel 7 and issued unprecedented declarations. I beg from international readers to remember that this are the words of a settler; some of his sayings are outrageous. Yet, they provide an awesome insight at the increasing separation between religious-Jews and secular-Zionists.
"We have heard the incitement voices against settlers, against the children they call 'terrorists' but I did not hear the protesting voices against those who hurt the Torah of Israel and Jewish morals. The people of Israel keep silent.
"Tzipi Livni's father$$ fought the British because he wanted to live in Israel. Was he called a terrorist? Nowadays, his daughter [she is the current Minister of Justice] wants to impose the British Law in Hebron so that no Jew will settle there.
"Netanyahu contributed a lot to the state but he has no right to destroy it and give it to the Palestinians, or to freeze its construction. This is not the Land of Benjamin Netanyahu or of his father.
"He who wearing black uniform [hint to Nazi special forces] expelled the settlers from Gaza, he who violently expelled Yamit [Jewish town in the Sinai], he who threw out in the middle of the night a family from Yitzhar is the terrorist."
In other words, he blames the State of Israel of terrorism.
"Fifty years from now nobody will remember Netanyahu; those who built the settlement will be remembered," he summarized.
Parachuting Out of the Army
On the same day, the IDF announced that it decided to freeze the creation of a new Ultra-Orthodox battalion. Battalion 97 Netzah Yehuda (Judea's Eternity) was created a few years ago as part of the efforts of the IDF to incorporate Ultra-Orthodox Jews. Following the recent approval of the new Conscription Law, the army planned a second battalion to be created this year.
The massive protest against the law, the largest in the state's history, hinted that the new battalion was wishful thinking. People about to be called by the army left to New York, where they were welcomed by Satmar. Those called to the army, preferred going to jail that serving the violating state.
In March, the conscription rate to the existing battalion dropped 30% in comparison to 2013, leading to the decision to freeze the creation of the second. The army claims that it will face problem to reach 2,000 Ultra-Orthodox conscripts this year, while the quota imposed on them is 8,000.
Smart on the Weak
Following many years of being "smart on the weak," Israeli civil servants became spoiled. They think that they can abuse Palestinians and others because weak segments of the population cannot gather enough political force to stop government violence.
They became so spoiled that they consider themselves gods, failing to see that they are mere idols worshipped by ignorant masses. The secular state has become the opium of the masses. "The State is I," they imply while accusing, judging and punishing while acting under secret laws and denying their victims even the rights of self-defense and a trial in a just court.
They became so spoiled that they attacked Ultra-Orthodox Jewry, forgetting that the unholy alliance&& between them and secular-Zionists is what enabled the State of Israel and forms its real base.
The Knesset building in Jerusalem is nothing but cement covered with sandstone; the base of the state is the Zionist-Ultra Orthodox alliance. Forgetting this, Zionism started a fast parachuting into the bottomless dustbin of eternal oblivion.

* Yitzhar, a Jewish settlement placed atop a hill with a control position on the Palestinian city of Nablus. The name refers to the finest olive oil. Established in 1984 and with just over 1,000 settlers, Yitzhar is an Ultra-Orthodox Jews settlement and among the most extremist, comparable almost to Kiryat Arba in Hebron.
Rabbi Meir Kahane was an American-Israeli ultra-nationalist rabbi. Kahane founded both the Jewish Defense League (JDL) in the USA, and the Kach (roughly "This is the Way"), political party in Israel. In 1984, Kach gained one seat in parliamentary elections, and he became a member of the Knesset. In 1988, the Israeli government banned Kach as "racist" and "undemocratic" under the terms of an ad hoc law. In 1994, following the Cave of the Patriarchs massacre perpetrated by Baruch Goldstein, a Kahane follower, Kach was outlawed in Israel and the US State Department listed it as a terrorist organization. Kahane was assassinated in a Manhattan hotel by an Arab gunman in November 1990 after Kahane concluded a speech warning American Jews to emigrate to Israel before it was "too late."
$ Mishmar HaGvul ("Guard of the Border" in Hebrew) is a mixed police-army unit. Its members are soldiers, but the unit activity is under the command of Israeli Police. This trick allows Israel to deploy it in places where the army or the police would be seen as acting beyond their jurisdiction (army within the Green Line, police in the West Bank or East Jerusalem). The unit is noted for recruiting minority soldiers (Bedouins, Circassians, Druzes, and others) and many new immigrants. They are often sent to disperse protests in the West Bank. Accordingly, they have a small counterterrorism unit known as "Yamas." Its name is the Hebrew acronym for "Yehidat HaMista'aravim," namely "The Disguised as Arabs Unit."
& Note on West Bank Sovereignty: Israel's law system is incomplete. Where laws do not exist, Israeli courts often refer to British Mandate and Ottoman Empire laws. In the recent Prawer Law Affair, was based on the expropriation (i.e. "robbing by the State") of Bedouin lands. The State requested from the landowners to find their Ottoman Empire "Kushan" ownership papers. Not one Bedouin has such documents. They can't be issued since that empire is kaput. "Great," said the Justice, "Let's expropriate!"
** The term "Price Tag Policy" became public in July 2008, when settler Itay Zar from Havat Gilad defined it: "Whenever an evacuation (of settlers) is carried out—whether it is a bus, a trailer or a small outpost—we will respond." It refers to illegal actions carried out by radical right-winged Israeli activists and settlers. The actions of these Jewish hooligans include demonstrations, burning of mosques, desecration of churches, blocking of roads, clashes with Israeli security forces, throwing rocks at Palestinian cars, torching of Palestinian fields and orchards, and the destruction and uprooting of trees belonging to Palestinians. The last is very important since according to Ottoman laws still legally binding in Israel, trees can be used to show ownership of land. This is how Israelis define "good neighbors." See Price Tag section of the website.
$$ Minister of Justice Tzipi Livni heads the smallest of the four parties forming Netanyahu's government; she is heir to the Warring Family.
&& Jewish redemption is far from the Spiritual Redemption professed by Christians. Jews expect a physical redemption based on a Godly Kingdom in the Land of Israel. All the religious interpretations until the 19th Century didn't leave any place to a Zionist party rushing to conquer Arab lands. That was the role of a future Messiah. Thus, any cooperation between Zionists and Orthodox Jews was impossible.
