What is a Terrorist Organization?
Conveniently for certain countries – and probably under their terrorist pressure – there is no agreed definition of “terrorist organization.” Under such reality, these terrorist countries can define as “terrorists” anyone, according to their shifting political motivations.
Recently we have seen the definition of the State of Israel as a “terror inflicting” organization towards Israel by the Human Rights Council of the United Nations. Thus referring to that state as terrorist is safe; my status as a refugee is not endangered by that. Especially since the country that gave refuge cut its relations with Israel due to the crimes committed by this terror state in Gaza.
However, not always it is possible to find such a specific definition adopted by this highly regarded body. Luckily, the UN have defined a clear standard (see Terrorism Definition): "Terrorism is an anxiety-inspiring method of repeated violent action, employed by (semi-) clandestine individual, group or state actors, for idiosyncratic, criminal or political reasons, whereby - in contrast to assassination - the direct targets of violence are not the main targets. The immediate human victims of violence are generally chosen randomly (targets of opportunity) or selectively (representative or symbolic targets) from a target population, and serve as message generators."
Under such reasonable definition, how would the Mossad be classified?
What does the Mossad?
Fitting its cowardice, the Mossad doesn’t advertise its actions. Yet, many of them have been published and may provide useful clues regarding the organization’s nature.
In 1960, the Mossad abducted Adolf Eichmann from Argentina. Argentina protested what it considered as the violation of its sovereignty, and the United Nations Security Council noted that "repetition of acts such as [this] would involve a breach of the principles upon which international order is founded, creating an atmosphere of insecurity and distrust incompatible with the preservation of peace." As per the definition above, this is an anxiety-inspiring method of violent action. Mossad committed terror.
The Lillehammer Affair refers to the assassination of a Moroccan waiter, Ahmed Bouchiki, in Lillehammer, Norway on July 21, 1973 by Mossad agents. The Mossad agents were captured and admitted to have mistaken their victim for Ali Hassan Salameh, the alleged chief of operations for Black September. As per the definition abovementioned, the target here was selected from a target population, and served as message generators. Mossad committed terror.
On September, 25, 1997, Khaled Mashal was poisoned in Amman by Mossad agents, who were captured and released only after Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to supply the antidote. Without doubt, Mossad committed terror.
On January 19, 2010 Hamas commander Mahmoud al-Mabhouh was assassinated in Dubai, an event which was apparently carried out by Mossad agents using forged foreign passports. Dhahi Khalfan - the Dubai police chief -called for Dagan's resignation. A Mossad official was expelled from Britain. Ireland and Australia expelled Israeli diplomats over the affair. The real owners of the stolen or forgedpassports, including Britons living in Israel, have become victims of a murder plot. The Mossad agents who used their names have been put on Interpol’s wanted list. Despite the cowardice of the criminal perpetrators, there is little doubt who they were. Meir Dagan carries the mark of the beast. Again, Mossad committed terror. The list of similar acts of terror goes on and on.
What is the Mossad?
Under the evidences, there is little doubt. Mossad – as its mother organization, the State of Israel – is a Terror Organization. All its known members – beginning with its evil head Meir Dagan should be imprisoned immediately and put to trial by the International Court.
