Bastards: Yom Kippur 2010

Today – Friday, September 17, 2010 – is the eve of Yom Kippur, the Jewish Atonement Day. The amount of things Jews should repent for is growing exponentially. Israel is becoming an outcast and detested country, even among former allies. Instead of repeating here the long and impressive list of crimes committed by the Israeli society, I would like today to comment on an often overlooked crime. Despite being a silent one, is no less monstrous, breaking forever the self-created, Hollywood-backed mythos of Jews as compassionate people. Secular Jews – still a majority of the Israeli society, but not for long – pride themselves in their humanistic values. They consider themselves better than Orthodox and Ultra-Orthodox Jews. Most of them are unable to understand the limitations and inherent distortions of humanism – I expanded on that in The Cross of Bethlehem If I were to marry a Christian woman in a church in Israel, our children would be bastards (mamzerim). They wouldn’t enjoy the state’s social services, would have problems to enroll into the IDF (and thus be discriminated for the rest of their lives) and would enter the list of “psulei hitun” (forbidden of marriage), meaning they wouldn’t be able to marry Jews (well, that would be an unintentional blessing). However, the list of bastards is longer. Children born out of rapes, of incest, and other events which are beyond the definition of being born within a regular family would be defined by the rabbis as bastards. Children born under such conditions would pay for the rest of their lives for events they aren’t responsible for. These are not the teachings of the Lord; rabbis, read the Bible carefully and show some love toward fellow humans. Otherwise, you cannot consider yourself as people of God (1 John 4:19-20 We love him, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?). Even by the distorted values of humanism, you are committing crimes. Unlike countries, no human is illegal. All humans possess equal rights and cannot be discriminated. These are part of the rights assured by Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Israel may claim it has not Constitution and that had never committed to protect that specific list of rights. However, that would be just another lie. Israel received its sovereignty from the UN under the very clear condition it would respect Human Rights. Thus, you are criminals under your own legal system, and under it, you would be judged. Have no doubt on the verdict: Guilty!
