The same happened in 2009, during Operation Cast Lead. Israel was not able to produce a fast destruction of its targets; the attack went on and on, eventually ending in Israel being defined by the Human Rights Council of the UN as a "terror inflicting" organization on October 16, 2009. The IDF cannot undertake prolonged operations mainly because it depends on reservists for them. Recruiting reservists stalls the Israeli economy, backfiring on the aggressor. Eventually, this limits the Israeli government's capability to continue attacks until a military end is achieved. Moreover, the Israeli subservient Egypt of 2009 doesn't exist anymore. Egypt mobilized the international community and forced a ceasefire. Israel didn't learn. Moreover, Israel handed an easy victory to Hamas. The latter answered the Israeli attacks with roughly 1,000 missiles; 700 of them landed in Israel. Nine of them were Fajr-5 rockets, six of them landed in Tel Aviv. The other three landed in Jerusalem's southern outskirts. Hamas successfully transformed Tel Aviv and Jerusalem into battle zones. The effect of this on Israeli morale was significant. Israel destroyed much of the Hamas reserve of the long-range rockets, but was unable to diminish Hamas' short-range capabilities. Israel didn't learn. The Hebrew media praised Israeli achievements in Gaza. It reported on the destruction of the Hamas Headquarters, the police station in Gaza City, the Internal Security Headquarters, the Military Intelligence Headquarters, an unmanned aerial vehicle's factory, and several similar targets. They are so busy rejoicing in their violence that they fail to understand this destruction means nothing. They can be restored almost immediately, as happened in Lebanon. Israel didn't learn. The focused foiling attacks weren't restricted to Ahmed al-Jabari. Israel also assassinated Yunes Shaluf, who was responsible for the firing of rockets on Eilat a few months ago; Yehia Abyia, Head of the Hamas Rocket Corps; Muhammad Klab, Head of the anti-aerial defenses in Southern Gaza, and Abu el-Atta, Head of the Gaza City Brigade. By doing so, Israel gave inspiration to hundreds of young boys to replace the dead fighters. Israel didn't learn. Ghetto Gaza There is no “Holocaust Day” in Israel; officially, the country commemorates the “Holocaust and Heroism Remembrance Day.” Outside Israel, the “heroism” part of the name is often overlooked; yet, within the electronics and cement walls surrounding the Zionist state, the “heroism” is well emphasized. There is no other option; this institutional celebration of death would be unbearably suffocating otherwise. Despite formally encompassing several events, the heroism refers mainly to the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. The name “Warsaw Ghetto” is Jewish. The Nazis had created in October 1940 the “Jüdischer Wohnbezirk” or “Wohngebiet der Juden,” both translate as Jewish Quarter. Yet, the term “ghetto” is neither mistaken nor offensive, it was first used in Venice to describe the area where Jews were obliged to live; nowadays, it is used in reference to a part of a city predominantly occupied by a particular group. The Warsaw Ghetto was the largest of all Jewish Ghettos in Nazi-occupied Europe during World War II. On January 18, 1943, the Germans entered the Warsaw Ghetto resolved to conduct forced deportations. However, they found resistance that deteriorated into a long battle. The final struggle started on April 19, 1943, when several thousand Nazi troops entered the ghetto. Their approach was systematic, destroying all the buildings, block by block. Significant resistance ended on April 23, and the uprising officially ended on May 16, with the demolition of the Great Synagogue of Warsaw. The official Nazi report claimed more than 56,000 victims. By imposing a blockade on Gaza, Israel has created a new Warsaw Ghetto, this one four times larger than the original one. Like the Germans, the Israelis will fail to force its inhabitants to surrender. Israel also failed to learn that out of this Ghetto's ashes, a new phoenix will emerge...
